AKU Rocket DFS GTX are fast hiking shoes developed for users who want lightweight, dynamic and dependable footwear for technical trails and active outdoor use. This model balances traction, comfort and control, making it suitable for quick day hikes and faster movement across more demanding terrain.
The shoe features the exclusive AKU Dual Fit System (DFS), which allows you to vary the precision of the fit through two different lacing systems. This makes it easier to adapt the fit depending on terrain and movement intensity.
Vibram Traction Lug technology improves traction and grip, while the Vibram Megagrip outsole compound helps provide confident contact on varied surfaces. The upper has a crossed rib structure and is protected by a 3D Print layer for added durability. Inside, the GORE-TEX Performance Comfort lining helps keep feet dry and comfortable in changing weather conditions.
The model is built with AKU Elica Natural Stride System to promote biodynamic efficiency and a more natural stride. Additional comfort comes from the Ortholite Hybrid footbed, which is partially recycled.
