MSR Hubba Hubba™ HD 2 is a durable, comfortable and lightweight 2-person, 3-season backpacking tent designed for hiking, trekking and camping when the forecast is unpredictable. It keeps the classic Hubba Hubba balance of low weight and livability while adding stronger weather protection and generous interior space.
The tent features a true rectangular floorplan, making it suitable for modern rectangular sleeping pads. The 1.02 m interior peak height gives more room to sit and move, while two large side-entry doors with vestibules provide convenient storage space for backpacks, boots and other gear.
DAC NFL 9.3 mm poles, a stable hub-and-pole system, extra guy lines and durable Mini-Groundhog™ stakes help keep the tent secure in variable conditions. The full-featured rainfly includes StayDry™ doors with built-in rain gutters and updated kickstand vents for improved airflow and reduced condensation.
The floor, mesh and rainfly fabrics are solution-dyed, helping reduce water and energy use during production. According to MSR, solution-dyed fabrics reduce carbon emissions by at least 80% compared with previous fabrics. The tent also uses PFAS-free waterproof coatings.
Inside, large overhead gear loft pockets, tech-friendly pockets with cable ports and an included clothesline help keep gear organised and wet items drying. The symmetrical design and unified pole system make setup quick and intuitive.
