KONG Duck – ultra-compact rope clamp for 8–13 mm ropes

KONG Duck is an innovative ultra-compact emergency rope clamp developed for situations where minimum size, low weight and versatility are essential. It is designed for single ropes between 8 and 13 mm in diameter and also works with KONG Yaku Vario and Aro Sling Tubular slings.

Thanks to its extremely compact dimensions, Duck is easy to carry as part of an emergency or specialised equipment setup. It can be inserted even with one hand, while the large attachment hole allows locking carabiners to rotate.

Emergency ascent, recovery and self-rescue

KONG Duck was developed as an emergency ascender for recovery manoeuvres, self-rescue and progression. It can also be used as an adjuster for lanyards or webbing.

Its compact construction makes it particularly useful for mountaineering, caving, mountain rescue and other applications where a small and lightweight rope clamp may be required.

For 8–13 mm ropes

KONG Duck is designed for single ropes from 8 to 13 mm in diameter. It is also compatible with the manufacturer-specified KONG Yaku Vario and Aro Sling Tubular slings.

Only 70 g

One of the key advantages of the KONG Duck is its extremely low weight. At just 70 g, it takes up very little space and adds minimal weight to an equipment setup.
