We approach the summit. The couloir is steep. We attach our skis to the side ski holder of our Tour 28 ski touring backpack. We swap poles for ice axes. Two more metres. Here we go.
A few snowflakes start to fall. We grab our Gore-Tex® through the top opening of the backpack. We stow the skins in the side mesh pocket and take our goggles out of their dedicated compartment. Our ski backpack fits snugly thanks to its women's fit and load lifters. It stays securely in place as we go down the mountain.
We arrive at the refuge. The zipper at the bottom of the pack makes it easy to take out the sleeping bag and a change of clothes. They stayed dry thanks to the durable, water-repellent material of our 100% recycled polyester backpack.
