Black Diamond VaporLock Twistlock Carabiner

Black Diamond VaporLock Twistlock Carabiner is Black Diamond’s lightest autolocking carabiner, designed for long free climbs, alpine missions, belaying, rappelling and anchor setups. It adds extra security without compromising weight.

When used with a belay device, the VaporLock increases friction by up to 30% when lowering or rappelling with an ATC-style device. Its HMS shape is compatible with a Munter Hitch on ropes up to 9.4 mm, while the keylock nose helps prevent snagging on ropes, slings and gear.

The dual-action Twistlock sleeve provides fast automatic locking, and the carabiner is made from 7075 aluminium containing 25% pre-consumer recycled aluminium.
