Petzl ASAP LOCK

Petzl ASAP LOCK is a mobile fall arrester with an integrated LOCK function, designed for professional work at height, rope access systems and fall-arrest systems. During normal movement along the rope, the device follows the user freely without the need for manual operation, making everyday rope access work smoother and more efficient.

In the event of a fall or uncontrolled descent exceeding 2 m/s, the ASAP LOCK blocks on the rope and stops the user. The device also locks on the rope even if it is grabbed during the fall. The integrated LOCK function allows the user to immobilize the device on the rope, reducing the potential fall distance and helping prevent the rope from being blown upward in very windy conditions.

The connection arm makes the system drop-resistant, making it easier to pass intermediate anchors. Safety catches simplify installation and removal at any point on the rope. In rescue scenarios, the ASAP LOCK must be used with the ASAP’SORBER AXESS energy absorber.
