Singing Rock STATIC R44 11 is a premium low-stretch static rope developed for professional rope access, work positioning, rescue and rigging systems. Its 11 mm diameter, high 34.9 kN strength and durable construction make it suitable for demanding professional applications.

This version is supplied in a 40 metre length and Black colour, making it particularly practical for shorter access routes and professional systems where a full 100 or 200 metre rope is unnecessary.

Patented ROUTE 44 braiding technology

STATIC R44 is manufactured using Singing Rock's patented ROUTE 44 rope-braiding technology. The sheath is produced on a 44-carrier braiding machine, creating an optimal balance between core and sheath.

The densely braided sheath provides improved protection of the core against dirt, dust and mechanical wear. It also allows the rope to run smoothly through belay, rappel and other rope devices.

High 34.9 kN strength

The rope has a manufacturer-rated breaking strength of 34.9 kN. Knot breaking force is 22.3 kN, while the breaking force of a professionally stitched eye is 28.5 kN.

Low 3.2% static elongation

STATIC R44 has only 3.2% static elongation. Low stretch is particularly important for work-at-height and rope-access applications as it reduces unwanted rope movement during ascending, descending and positioning.

Ultrasonic rope termination
