Primus Lite XL Stove System is a larger-capacity compact stove system designed for hiking, backpacking trips, and climbing adventures. Primus presents it as a larger version of the Lite Plus, still compact but capable of cooking for up to three people.

The system uses a top-mounted stove design and includes a canister support, allowing it to be used either as is or with added stability on uneven ground. The burner features Laminar Flow Burner Technology, which helps maintain a low and stable centre of gravity.

The set includes a 1 litre hard-anodised aluminium pot with a heat exchanger and a practical pouring spout. The handle is removable, and the insulated sleeve makes the pot easier and safer to handle while hot. The lid is made from biobased plastic and doubles as a cup.

The stove has an integrated Piezo igniter, so it can be lit quickly without needing an external lighter. Primus states that the system is fuel-efficient, and it can boil 0.5 litres of water in about 2 minutes 30 seconds using the heat exchanger pot. This makes it ideal for preparing hot drinks, soup, or simple meals in the outdoors.

The manufacturer also notes that gas is not included, and the system should be used with 230g Primus Power Gas, Summer Gas, or Winter Gas canisters.
