Julbo Ultimate Cover – Maximum Protection for High Mountains
Julbo Ultimate Cover combines the protection of traditional glacier glasses with the lightweight performance of modern sports eyewear. Designed for mountaineers, alpine climbers, hikers and outdoor professionals, these sunglasses deliver outstanding protection in harsh environments while remaining extremely comfortable.
REACTIV 2–4 Performance Photochromic Lens
The REACTIV Performance lens automatically adjusts its tint from Category 2 to Category 4 according to UV intensity (Visible Light Transmission: 7–35%). This allows you to wear the same sunglasses from cloudy mornings to bright alpine afternoons without changing lenses. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}
The brown lens base improves terrain contrast, making rocks, snow and mountain trails easier to read while reducing eye fatigue.
Superior Mountain Protection
Removable Spandex® side shields and a removable nose guard effectively block side light, wind, snow and cold. When maximum protection is not required, the shields can be removed, transforming Ultimate Cover into lightweight sports sunglasses. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}
Exceptional Comfort
The adjustable CustomFIT temples provide a personalized fit, while Grip Tech inserts ensure secure hold without sticking to hair. The adjustable 3D Fit Nose guarantees excellent stability even during technical climbing or fast movement.
The frame is also fully compatible with helmets and can accommodate an optional optical clip for prescription users. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}
