AKU Insulated Overboots for Military Boots

Worn over your primary footwear, these overboots provide additional protection in cold, wet conditions. They fit most military boots. The wide instep makes putting them on and taking them off easier, while internal fastening laces hold the boot in place.

Construction and materials

• Upper: breathable woven polyester and cotton fabric.
• Closure: water-resistant YKK zip with a hook-and-loop protective flap.
• Top adjustment: external “fix-lock” fastening system.
• Middle section: reinforced fleece fabric with a polyurethane (PU) coating, providing waterproof protection and insulation against cold.

Use and care

Put the overboots on before you begin to feel cold. Remove snow and mud from your boots before use. Clean after use, remove the insole before storage and avoid prolonged rolled-up storage. Hand wash at 40 °C. Do not dry clean or iron.

Choose them for standing watch, camping and extended outdoor stays with limited movement, when your primary boots need additional protection against cold and moisture. Useful while waiting, resting or carrying out tasks with little physical activity.
