KONG i-Ovalone Alu Twist Lock Bright Titanium is an oval aluminium alloy carabiner with a two-action automatic locking sleeve, Keylock system and integrated NFC chip for equipment identification. It weighs 76 g, has a 21 mm gate opening and provides 26 kN major-axis strength. Developed and manufactured in Italy, with every unit individually tested.
The KONG i-Ovalone Alu Twist Lock Bright Titanium is an aluminium alloy connector with an oval body and a 21 mm gate opening. Part of the I-CONNECTOR range, it incorporates an NFC chip to support equipment identification and inspection record management.
The automatic Twist Lock sleeve requires two actions to open: rotate the sleeve, then open the gate. The Keylock system helps reduce snagging on ropes and slings when clipping or unclipping.
The chip can be read using a compatible NFC-enabled smartphone or a computer equipped with an NFC reader. Digital identification makes periodic inspection administration easier and helps reduce errors associated with manually transcribing serial numbers.
