Singing Rock CENTER BAR III FLEX is a flexible replacement center bar designed for Singing Rock FAKIR III crampons. It connects the front and rear sections of the crampon and allows the overall length to be adjusted to different boot sizes.
The main advantage of the FLEX version is its increased flexibility. When crampons are used with more flexible mountaineering or hiking boots, the center bar follows the natural movement of the boot more effectively, improving comfort while walking.
Improved comfort with flexible boots
A rigid center bar can restrict the natural flex of softer footwear. CENTER BAR III FLEX is designed to accommodate this movement and reduce unnecessary stress on the crampon structure.
Singing Rock also states that the flexible center bar increases the lifetime of crampons used with flexible boots.

CENTER BAR III FLEX is made from stainless spring steel, providing the elasticity, strength and corrosion resistance required for use in snow, ice and wet mountain environments.
