Morakniv Bushcraft Black Blade (C) is a powerful and reliable carbon steel knife designed for bushcraft, survival, hunting and demanding outdoor tasks. Its robust 3.2 mm blade provides excellent control for carving, batoning, firewood preparation and precision work.
This model is designed for users who need dependable equipment in tough conditions. Its durable construction, secure grip and ferro rod-compatible spine make it suitable for camping, shelter building, fire preparation and other wilderness tasks.
The blade is made from German C100S carbon steel supplied by C.D. Wälzholz GmbH. It measures 109 mm in length and 3.2 mm in thickness, with a nominal hardness of 57.5 HRC.
Carbon steel offers excellent cutting performance, is easy to sharpen and can achieve an exceptionally sharp edge. The black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating helps protect the blade from corrosion while reducing reflections.
The blade features a classic Scandi grind, ideal for bushcraft, woodwork and field use. Morakniv specifies a total grind angle of 26–28° and an edge angle of 37–39°.
This geometry provides a strong cutting edge with excellent control for carving, batoning and precision tasks.
The blade spine is specially ground for use with a ferro rod. It can produce sparks effectively even in cold and damp conditions, making the knife useful for fire starting during camping and survival activities.
The ergonomic TPE rubber handle provides a stable and non-slip grip in both wet and cold environments. A pronounced finger guard improves safety and provides better control during powerful cutting tasks.
The knife comes with a durable polypropylene sheath featuring a belt clip and belt loop for convenient and secure right-side carry.
